Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your purchase and use of the WordPress plugins Apex Optimizer, Custom Popup and DeepPress AI (the “Plugins”), the related license keys, downloads, updates and support (together, the “Service”) offered by Apex Shop (“we”, “us”). By placing an order, downloading a Plugin or activating a license key you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, invoicing, taxes (including VAT/sales tax) and payment-related inquiries. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s terms and privacy policy, available on their website. Prices are shown in US dollars and include or exclude taxes as displayed at checkout.
2. What you are buying
A purchase gives you a personal license key for one Plugin, or for all three Plugins in the bundle (one key per Plugin). Each license is sold for either 1 site or 10 sites. A key may be activated on no more than the number of websites (domains) you purchased. The license includes access to the Plugin download, updates released during the license term, and support during the license term.
3. License term, renewal and expiry
- Each license is valid for one year (12 months) from the first activation of the license key.
- Where a product is offered as a yearly subscription at checkout, it renews automatically each year at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- When a license expires, license-gated features of the Plugin stop working until the license is renewed. The content and settings stored on your website remain yours and are not deleted by us.
4. Software license and open-source code
The Plugins are WordPress plugins distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), as stated in the header of each Plugin. Your rights to use, study and modify the Plugin code are governed by that license. The paid license key is a separate service: it entitles you to activation on your sites, downloads, updates and support, and it is personal to you and covered by these Terms.
5. Your responsibilities
- Keep your license key confidential. Do not publish it or share it with people who are not entitled to it, and do not activate it on more sites than you purchased.
- Do not attempt to bypass, disable or tamper with the license check, or to use the license server in a way that disrupts it (for example, automated key guessing).
- Use the Plugins in accordance with applicable law and with the terms of the third-party services you connect to them.
- You are responsible for your website, its backups, hosting, themes and other plugins. Always test a Plugin on a staging site and keep backups before installing or updating.
6. Moving a license to another site
You may move a license to a different website. Ask our support to release the old site, then activate the key on the new one. We may limit how often a license can be moved to prevent abuse.
7. Third-party services
Some Plugin features connect to third-party services that you configure, for example AI text and image providers, search-data providers or other APIs used by DeepPress AI. You need your own accounts and API keys for them. Their fees are paid by you directly to the provider and are not included in the license price. We do not control these services and are not responsible for them. Content you send to them is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
8. Support and updates
Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through Telegram (@apexshopSUPP) during the license term. We aim to release updates for compatibility and fixes, but we do not guarantee a release schedule or compatibility with every theme, plugin, hosting setup or future WordPress version.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke a license key, without refund, if it is used in breach of these Terms (for example, shared publicly or activated on more sites than purchased), or if the underlying payment is reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, specific results (such as ranking, speed, traffic, conversion or revenue), or that the license server will always be available.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the license concerned during the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights where they apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to purchases and use of the Service after the update. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
